Eric Panagopoulos was born in 1991. He graduated from the Patra Music School and then from 2010 to 2011 he studied at the Jazz department of Trøndertun Folkehøgskole in Trøndheim, Norway. He also studied Sound music instruments Technology at the Kefalonia. He is mostly a self-taught guitarist, but has received lessons from Antonis Panagopoulos, Giannis Poupoulis and Michalis Tsiftsis.

Since his settlement in Athens in 2017, he has collaborated with many Greek jazz musicians (Jennie Kapadai, Yiannis Kassetas, Angelos Polychronou, and more). He is a member of the groups The Soul Peanuts, One Inch Punch and the Stavros Manthos Quartet. With the latter one he recorded the album "Colours in Motion" in 2019.

He has also formed his personal band, "Τeleferik", round out by Alexis Delis and Panagiotis Kostopoulos, with which he performs his original compositions.
