Greek Jazz and Women' s Day
For the celebration of the International Women's Day 2022 we present a small tribute to the albums of the Greek jazz scene created by women, in the previous year (2021).
Mikis Theodorakis and Greek jazz
A Jazz Library exhibit which is dedicated to the great Greek composer and musician Mikis Theodorakis, who died on Thursday the 2nd of September, 2021 at the age of 96 years old.
Jazz in Cyprus
This exhibit, titled "Jazz in Cyprus", is dedicated to the artists from Cyprus and the discography they have created. Jazz took its first steps in Cyprus in the 60's, enriching the dance music of the time with new sounds.
Jazz and literature
Since its beginning in June 2021, Jazz Library wants to cover everything about jazz - in Greece and Cyprus - including the publications in literature, fiction, history and more.

In which year in the history of Greek jazz do we find the most new album releases? In 2019, according to Jazz Library, with 64 new albums by Greek and Cypriot musicians who live in Greece and Cyprus or abroad.
Haris Papoutsakis's blog of jazz events (2019)
Haris Papoutsakis is an affectionate lover and supporter of the Greek jazz scene. At his personal blog he writes everything about the events he has attended, giving personal details and impressions that make the blog so unique. His writings are also posted in the "Jazz Events Live - Greece" page. At the same time he has collected many photographs from all these events.
