Yiorgos Barberis was born in Athens in 1994. He expressed his interest in music and drums very early. At the age of 9 he started receiving his first lessons by George Polyhronakos and at the age of 19, after living for some years in Karditsa, he settled back in Athens and continued his studies at Lab music education.

Among others he has studied with Dimitris Klonis, Michalis Kapilidis, Kallistratos Drakopoulos and Nikos Sidirokastritis.

He is a member of the Takis Barberis Group, as well as of the Panos Iliou Group and The Burger Project.
