The bass player Yannis Papadopoulos was born in Athens in 1972. He started studying music at the age of 9 and he is an active musician since 1987. Among his teachers were Yiorgos Fakanas, Giorgos Georgiadis and Grigoris Ntanis.

In 2012 he participated in the debut album of the band Jazz on T.A.P. as a composer and as a bassist.

He is a graduate of the Crete University, where he studied mathematics and also received an MSc in computer science at the Reading University in Great Britain. Completing 20 years of working as a computer scientist in Greece and abroad, he devoted himself to his great love, music participating in groups such as Continuo Trio and Strovilli.
