Giorgos Georgiadis was born in Athens in 1969. He studied electric bass with Υiorgos Fakanas and classical double bass with Takis Kapoyannis at the Philippos Nakas and Orfeio conservatories.

He has collaborated with most musicians of the Greek jazz scene, as well as with many artists from abroad both in studio recordings and in live performances.

He is a member of the Big Band of the Municipality of Athens. He teaches at Lab Music Education in Athens. He has three personal albums: "Taxidi", "Kathimerinotita" and "Standards".
