Manos Anagnostopoulos

Manos Anagnostopoulos started his music studies at Filippos Nakas Conservatory under Takis Paterelis, John Papatriantafilou, Costas Baltazanis and Yiotis Kiourtsoglou. Two years later he received a scholaship to Berklee College of Music, where he completed his studies at jazz theory and arranging and attended many seminars and workshops. At the age of 22 he was accepted at Conservatorium van Amsterdam. He stayed in Amsterdam for eight more years studying, teaching and performing with various groups at numerous venues and festivals.

He has attended lessons and seminars by artists such as Greg Bailey, Billy Sheehan, Jimmy Cobb, Kai Eckhardt, Mike Stern, John Scofield, Avishai Cohen and Victor Bailey.

He collaborates with many greek jazz groups. Among them are Rudy Roots, Adededji Adetayo and the Afrosessioners, Great Lovers, Nosso Samba, SuperBacana and many more.
