Christos Sitokonstantinou

Christos Sitokonstantinou is a vibraphonist and classical percussionist. He started his studies at the Municipal Conservatory of the City of Volos and he cοmpleted his classical music studies at Synodeio Conservatory of Thessaloniki graduating unanimously with "excellent".

He has been a member of the Thessaloniki State Symphony Orchestra, the Municipal Orchestra of Thessaloniki, the Municipal Orchstra of Volos and has teken part in many concerts in venues as the Megaron the Athens Concert Hall, the Thessaloniki Concert Hall as well as in many festival all over Greece. He has also attended the Jazz Improvisation workshop of Andreas Papagiannakopoulos and has composed music for theatrical and contemporary dance shows. 

In 2017 he organized and was the principal instructor of the "Waiting for crousteau" workshop that took place under the Volos Festival whlie in the same time he created the Delacito Project, through which he expresses himself artistically. The quartet has participated in many important jazz and contemporary/ underground music festivals whereas in June 2020 the ensemble released its firs album "Filodia - Α musical journey to jazzality" with the artist's personal compositions.

Currently he plays with various music groups and teaches classes of classical percussion, drums and body percussion. Also, he prepares other music instructors in the teaching of drums and percussion.
