Andreas Papagiannakopoulos

Andreas Papagiannakopoulos was born in Athens in 1979 and grew up in Volos. At the age of 14 he took up the electric guitar and started to play in a rock band. He started jazz guitar lessons with Grigoris Ntanis in Athens.

In 2005 he moved to Holland to study in Utrechts Conservatory of Music. Among his teachers were Eef Beirach and Wim Bronnenberg. He became a member of jazz ensembles and big bands in Amsterdam and Utrecht.

In 2010 after completing his studies he returned to Greece and started working as a musician and teacher.

His first album entitled "Leoforio - First Stop" was released on 2016.
