Nikos Touliatos was born in Korinthos in 1955. He started playing drums as a self-taught musician in 1971. Playing extensively in various music genres he shaped a personal sound.

He has composed music for films and the theatre and he has collaborated with dancers, actors and directors. He has also lead multimedia performances in Greece and abroad. During the last years he performs live for silent movie films.

With the group Croussis, now renamed as Echodrasis he has been performing in Greece and abroad for 25 years, using any object as a percussive instrument.

He was a member of the group Iskra and has collaborated with countless artists of the improvised scene.
