Christos Kladas was born in 1969 in Ilioupolis, Athens. He started learning and playing music in Ilioupolis Municipal Brass Band at the age of 16. He studied with Aris Karantanis, Antonis Ladopoulos and Vasilis Rakopoulos.

He studied saxophone in Jazz Schule Bern and then in the Jazz Department of the Musikhochschule Basel.

He has been teaching,composing and performing jazz since 1989. He composes music for children and theater. Since 2017 he has been leading Ilioupolis Municipal Brass Band.

Among others he has performed with Pyros Ether, Serafeim Bellos, Pantelis Benetatos and Alexandros Drakos Ktistakis.

His debut album as a leader "Jazz Suite No​.​1" was released in 2022.
