Thomas Mitrousis began his musical studies by taking classical and electric guitar lessons. After four years at Codarts University of the Arts in the Netherlands, he obtained his Bachelor (Jazz Guitar Performance) and holds a special degree in harmony.

In 2013 he was accepted by the same University for the Masters program (composition / arrangement). He also holds a grade 8-electric guitar performance and popular music theory (University of West London).

He has taken lessons from great musicians such as: Ronald Smith, Kris Goessens, Simon Rigter, Ed Vehoeff, Ab Schaab, Maarten van der Grinten, Pantelis Gertsos, Nikos Panagiotakis, Vasilis Rakopoulos. He has also attended seminars by Peter Erskine, Jonathan Kreisberg, Phillipe Catherine, Kurt Rosenwinkel, Larry Grenadier.

He has collaborated with many musicians in Greece and abroad. He works as an electric guitar teacher in various conservatories.

His debut album as a leader "The Seed" was released in 2022.
