Danas Dimos was born in Thessaloniki in 1988. He took his first music lessons at the age of 10 and in 2007 he turned his interest in the trumpet, studying at the Municipal Conservatory of Neapolis. In 2019 he graduated from the Department of Music Studies of the Ionian University, specializing in jazz, with Dimos Dimitriadis. 

At the Ionian University he had the opportunity to attend seminars, concerts and workshops with George Kontrafouris, Charis Ioannou, Harris Lambrakis, Lefteris Kordis, Petros Klampanis, Nikolas Anadolis, Arion Gyftakis, Marcus Stockhausen, Gilad Hekselman, Jean-Michel Pilc, Eric Ineke, Ronan Guilfoyle, Jussi Lehtonen, Sheila Jordan, Juraj Stanik. Also, he has played and studied next to Antonis Andreou, Vasilis Xenopoulos, J.D. Walter and Craig Bailey.

In 2016 he played with the Royal Conservatoire Big Band (Koninklijk Conservatorium dan Haag in Holland) as an Erasmus student. In 2017 he represented the Ionian University at the 27th I.A.S.J. Jazz Meeting (International Association of Schools of Jazz) (Siena, Italy), participating in concerts and workshops. He has also taken part in significant festivals (Para Thin Alos, Dimitria, Aqua Jazz and more) and has appeared with symphonic and philarmonic orchestras as well as with smaller ensembles in music venues as the Megaron the Athens Concert Hall, the Thessaloniki Music Hall, the Vafopoulio Cultural Centre and the Ionian Academy.
