Alexandros Tziovas was born in Athens in 1998. He started studying piano at a very early age. His further involvement with music was influenced by his studies at the Pallini Music, since during that period he started playing the double bass and performing with groups and jazz bands. After graduating the Pallini Μusic Ηigh School he was accepted at the Department of Music Studies of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens. Additionally he studied double bass with Takis Kapogiannis at the Athens Conservatory.

He is an active jazz bassist and has attended seminars and received lessons by Manos Loutas, Giorgos Georgiadis, Sylvios Syrros, Arion Gyftakis and more.
