Marlieri Samuel was born in Piacenza, Italy in 31th of October 1968. Since 2005 he lives and works as a professional musician in our country. He has srudied with Giuseppe Parmigiani, Massimo Ferraguti, Gianluigi Trovesi, Stefano Battaglia in Italy as well as with Garrison Fewell at the renowned Berklee College of Music in Boston (USA). 

In his long term career in music, he has apppeared in many live performances with various groups and artists that represent different music idioms, in Greece in addition to the music scene of Italy, in which he was very active.

He has collaborated with Enrico Pieranunzi, Greg Howe, Mattias Eklundh, China Moses, Horacio "El Negro" Hernandez and many others, whereas he has also appeared in many tv shows and theatrical plays. 

When he came to Greece he got involved in the local music scene almost immediately and very naturally. Since 2008 he is a member of the Yiorgos Fakanas Group and ever since he takes part in recordings and live performances. He has also worked with many musicians and groups of the Greek jazz scene along with prominent artists of the pop and folk music scene, as a musician and as an orchestrator as well.
