Stratum3 is a jazz improvisational trio, which is inspired by the modal jazz sound era of John Coltrane, Archie Shepp and Miles Davis, as well as the newest Nordic jazz avant-garde scene.

As in geometry we use 3 points to define a layer, in the same manner the three members of the group define their unique sound layer (stratum in Latin means layer).

Stratum3 are: Panagiotis Christofis on tenor and soprano saxophone, Alexios Antonopoulos on drums and Tolis Metzidakis on bass.
