Leandros Pasias was born in Thessaloniki. He started piano lessons with Tasos Mantzaris at the Music Workshop conservatory at the age of 10. Moreover he received lessons by Yiannis Angelakis at the Modern Conservatory of Thessaloniki, where he studied classical and jazz theory. He has also a State Conservatory of Thessaloniki diploma in classical music theory. At the age of 18 he continued his studies at the piano department of Conservatorium van Amsterdam, with Karel Boehlee, Rob van Bavel, Hans Vroomans and at the classical piano with Gert-Jan Vermeulen. He also attended the workshop of Arnold Dooyeweerd.

He has performed at festivals such as Odessa Jazz Fest, Jazz au Chellah and Tirana Jazz & World Music Festival, as well as in Greece (Stavros Niarhos Foundation, Thessaloniki Concert Hall, Athens Technopolis Jazz Festival, etc.). He has collaborated among others with Νicolas Masson, James Wylie, Ivo Papasov, Adrien Losco, Abhishek Mangla, Marina Osk and Harris Lambrakis.

His debut album as a leader "It's time to go" was released in 2015.

He is a member of the Yako Trio and the Sokratis Votskos Quartet.
