Nikos Ntarilas was born in Agrinio in 1968. He studied traditional percussion with Petros Kourtis and classic percussion at the state conservatories of Zografou and Moschato. He also studied drums at the Modern Music School. He has attended many seminars by artists such as Glen Velez, Zohar Fresco, Peter Erskine, Dave Weckl, etc.

Among others he has collaborated with Iasis, Omar Faruk Tekbilek and many more well-known artists and has participated in many recordings.

Since 1998 he teaches modern and traditional percussion at various conservatories.
