Mihalis Hatzis started receiving guitar lessons at the age of 10. As a student of agriculture he participated in various groups playing with friens, until strating to study with Vasilis Rakopoulos at 25. He considers Vasilis Rakopoulos as his mentor and his main influence.

In 2013 he formed his sextet and started performing his music in various Athens venues. It lead to the recording of his first album "Mousikos Efratis", that was released in 2018.
