Panagiotis Bourazanis
Panagiotis Bourazanis was born in Athnes in 1983. At the age of 14 he started studying the electric bass at the National Conservatory and continued at Filippos Nakas Conservatory with Yiotis Kiourtsoglou. At the same time he studied musicology at the University of Athens. He continued studying classical double bass with Tasos Kazaglis and music theory with Michalis Travlos.
He has recorded and shared the stage with artists of diverse styles such as Joaquin Grillo, Chad Lefkowitz Brown, Vasso Dimitriou & Noir Sessions, Night on Earth, Thanasis Papakonstantinou, Nuckeleus, Pete Lockett, Monitor, Tammy Scheffer, Jamoan, Courtney Parker and more.
He is a co-founder of Open Circle and Triplicity. The debut album of Triplicity “Birth of the Sun” was released in 2017.
He teaches electric bass at Filippos Nakas, Pixida and Peristeri Municipality conservatories.
