Vassilis Tziatzias studied at the New Conservatory and the Contemporary Conservatory of Thessaloniki. He continued with private lessons in electric guitar and jazz harmony. He has attended jazz and fingerstyle guitar seminars in Greece and Canada.

He has been a professional musician since 1988, collaborating with some of the most important Greek composers and singers. At the same time, as an active member of the jazz scene, he performs with acclaimed Greek and foreign musicians in clubs and festivals in Greece and abroad.

Since 2007 he lives in Patras where he teaches modern guitar and jazz harmony.
