Babis Tyropoulos was born in Athens in 1982. He studied electronic engineering, lifeguarding and music performance at Berklee college of music. He has lived in Chania, Boston, Austin, London and in 2013 he returned to Athens.

He has shared the stage with internationally acclaimed artists such as Pinetop Perkins, Russel Jackson, Bob Margolin, Stanton Moore, Keith Carlock and many more and has performed around the world.

Some of the projects/bands he has worked with recently are The Deep throat sessions, Roxy Roca, Gumbo Ya Ya, Smart as Bait, The Hoochie Koos, Guitar Talk (weekly open workshop), Stanton Moore’s trio in Athens, Lantsias Trio+, Reiner Wietzel & Athens Underground, David Lynch Quintet and Giorgos Kontrafouris Trio.

He is currently studying Synthetic Counseling & Psychotherapy, while he continues to teach guitar.
