Tsolis Sotiris was born in 1995 in Thessaloniki. His engagement in music and specifically in playing the drums, started from a very young age, in Larissa. 

In 2014 he moved to England in order to master his playing in drums. He lived in London and then in Leeds.

In 2016 he moved back to Greece and settled to Athens, where he became immediately an active member of the city's jazz scene. He is member of the Ergo Collective and of the ethnic jazz trio of the oudist Thomas Meleteas, with whom he recorded the album "Nestinari" in 2017.

He has toured around Greece and Europe and he has participated as a sideman in many recording in Greece and abroad. Since 2019 he lives and works in New York, where he also studies Jazz Performance at New School.
