Kostas Tatsakis was born and raised in Athens. From a young age he loved the drums and was involved in free improvised music in Athens and Brussels where he lived for about 15 years and collaborated with the greatest names in free improv music in the country.

In Greece, in 2009, he created the Tatsakis-Lambrakis duo with Haris Lambrakis. The duo has collaborated on stage with musicians such as Grigoris Danis, Michalis Siganidis, Ilan Manouach, Dimitris Theocharis.
