Andreas Stefanou was born in Limassol in 1986. From the age of 9 he started playing drums and playing live with various musical groups in band competitions, concerts, and recordings. After his service in the military philharmonic orchestra in 2006 he continued studying drums with George Koulas for a year.

In 2007 he was accepted at the Rotterdam Conservatoire in the direction of Latin Jazz, where he had the opportunity to study under the guidance of Lucas van Merwijk , Hans van Ousterhout and Kiko Fraidas.

In 2009 he went to New York to take lessons from Mark Guiliana. He graduated from the conservatoire in 2011.

He has taken part in various projects like The “Hague Festival Latin Fanatics“, “De Doelen Brazilian Festival“, “Limassol Jazz festival“, “Paradise Jazz Festival“ and Aglajia Jazz Festival”.
