Christos Sidiropoulos was born in 1977 in Duisburg, Germany. He is a graduate of the Contemporary Conservatory of Thessaloniki with a Jazz-Rock School Diploma in the Electric Guitar Department. His guitar/theory teachers were Makis Stefanidis and Manolis Sideridis. He holds a BA in Jazz Guitar from Leeds College of Music where he graduated with a BA (Hons) Jazz Studies. His postgraduate studies were in Electroacoustic Music Composition at Leeds Metropolitan University under the supervision of Professor Nikos Stavropoulos.

He lives in Thessaloniki where he works as a teacher in his musical guitar learning workshop "Guitart".
