Vassilis Papastamopoulos started playing bass at the age of 15 with Christos Zelelidis. He holds a Degree in Harmony and Advanced Theory from the Sibelius Conservatory (2006) and studied bass for years under the guidance of Υiotis Kiourtsoglou. He is also a Graduate Mechanical Engineer from NTUA.

He is an active member of many bands such as "Sun Electric Dopperman", "Afrodyssey Orchestra", "Blue John and the steamboats" and the historical experimental punk band "Lost Bodies" with whom he appeared in one of the biggest events in the country, the Rockwave Festival (2011). He was a member of Potergeist. Since 2006 he has been teaching electric bass.

He is a founding member of Los Tre.
