Grigoris Melakis started playing rock in the 70s. From 1982 to 1985 he was a member of Scraptown.

He participated in concerts and recordings of well-known musicians such as Vangelis Germanos, Yiannis Yokarinis, Haris Alexiou, etc. He also played with the bands Anemos and Spyridoula.

He participated in the music group "Ersitehniki Omada: Allilepidrasi", together with: Vassilis Dallas, Thodoris Rellos, Diamantis Simitas, Pantelis Benetatos, Yiannis Bach Spyropoulos and in their album "Acid Free" (Ano Kato Records).

Since 1994 he has been a member of Pyros Ether.
