Kontos Dimitris was born in Athens in 1995. He started studying music from a young age, learning how to play the piano and paricipating in choirs. A very important role in the development of his musical identity played the percussion lessons he took with Ersi Droukali from the Pallini Music High School.
Graduating from the above high school he started his graduate music studies at the Department of Music Studies of the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. 

In 2019 he obtained a degree in classic percussion at the class of Konstantinos Vorissis and Kostas Theodorakos. The recent years he is mastering his playing in jazz drums and for that reason he has attended many lessons and seminars, with Yiannis Floros, Dimitris Varzabetian, Nikos Vargiamidis, Dimitris Klonis, Sylvios Syrros, Eric Ineke, κ.ά.
