Dimitris Karagiannis studied clarinet at the "Athens Conservatory" and saxophone at the "Filippos Nakas" Conservatory in Athens.

He performs with the bands he leads or as a sideman. He has participated in projects, concerts, recordings with well-known composers, singers, artists and bands. He has performed at many Jazz festivals in Greece and abroad.

He teaches Jazz tenor and alto saxophone and clarinet.
