Antoine Karacostas was born in Paris in 1984. He began playing the piano at a very young age. Marked by the listening to family records, he turned to jazz at the age of 13. After completing his studies as a sound technician that he decided to pursue a professional career in music.

He studied at the CRR de Paris with Emil Spanyi and Benjamin Moussay and graduated in 2010.

In 2014 he formed his trio accompanied by Anders Ulrich on double bass and Simon Bernier on drums and released his first album as a leader "Trails" in 2016.
