Maria-Christina Harper is a Greek born with Egyptian roots, electric jazz harpist and composer.

She studied harp in Athens and continued her studies at the Royal Academy of London. She holds a MA in Music Therapy and teaches at Roehampton University.

She is based in the UK and has performed with Jools Holland on BBC2, BBC6, BBC1, KEXP and at the Montreal Jazz Festival. In London she has also appeared at the Royal Festival Hall, 606 Jazz club, The Roundhouse, the National Portrait Gallery.

In London she formed the Harper Trio featuring drummer Evan Jenkins and saxophonist Josephine Davies.

The band’s debut album “Passing By” was released in 2023.
