Apostolis Anthimos
Apostolis Anthimos was born in Poland to Greek parents. He is a guitar player who also plays bass, drums and keyboards. Since 1971 he has been the member of SBB, one of Poland’s leading progressive rock groups.
In the early '70s he also played with Niemen, a very famous Polish avant-garde musician. In the '80s he begun his collaboration with Tomasz Stańko.
During the years spent in Greece he was George Dalaras' drummer. His debut album "Days We Can’t Forget” was released in 1994, featuring Gil Goldstein,Matthew Garrison, Paul Wertico, Jim Beard and Sugar Blue.
Anthimos was also in charge of the band Theatro, but for more than a decade now he has performed with his own trio, with Gary Husband and Etienne Mbappe.
