Alexandros Affolter was born in Amsterdam and studied jazz and music theatre at the famous Lee Strasberg Music & Theatre Institute in New York. Since 1994 he has performed in various jazz clubs in the Netherlands and Greece, as well as at various music festivals.

He has recorded with Antonis Ladopoulos and has performed with musicians such as Dimitris Kalantzis, Dimitri Vassilakis, Serafeim Bellos, Pantelis Benetatos and more.

He has toured in many greek cities with the project "Sinatra With A Twist" and has performed at all the Athens jazz clubs. He also participates in the drummer's Serafeim Bellos "New bottles, old wine", a project dedicated to the great jazz divas Billie Holiday, Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan and Nina Simone.
