Papadimitriou Sakis

The literary and art magazine Diagonios in Thessaloniki, since 1960 regularly published articles by Sakis Papadimitriou on the history of jazz.
These articles, supplemented with other information, were published in a book in 1963, entitled "Introduction to Jazz", which is the first book on jazz in the Greek language.
It is divided into 4 chapters: The genres of jazz, the spread of jazz, relationships of jazz with other musical genres and musical instruments. As an epimeter it includes an index of terms and expressions.
