Sakis Zachariades was born in Thessaloniki and started guitar lessons very early. In 1994 he graduated from the famous Musicians Institute - GIT of Los Angeles, where he studied with renown musicians of the international scene (Scott Henderson, Joe Diorio, Norman Brown, Frank Gambale and more). He also attended seminars by top artists such as Pat Metheny, Lyle Mays, Joe Pass and Stanley Jordan.

Since 1996 he has been teaching at Thessaloniki conservatories (Filippos Nakas, Modern Conservatory, New Conservatory, Municipality of Kalamaria Conservatory).

He has released three personal albums with original compositions and has participated in many other recordings as a session musician.
