Nikos Terzakis was born in Athens in 1969. He studied classical guitar with Elena Papandreou. He owns a diploma in music theory, counterpoint and fugue and has advanced jazz theory studies in C.I.M. ECOLE DE JAZZ DE PARIS.

As a session musician he has collaborated with Marios Tokas and Kostas Hatzis and has performed for many TV shows. He has also collaborated with many jazz, blues and rock groups. In 2005 he formed the band One Note Stand with which he did many pop and rock covers using jazz fomulas and performed in Athens and other Greek cities.

In 2009 with Christos Asonitis and Yannis Papadopoulos, he formed the trio Jazz on T.A.P. and did concerts around Greece. The band's first album was released in 2012, including 9 original compositions. He also performes with Makis Ablianitis in a band called Guitar on the Go and is a member of the Spicy Organ Trio.
