Konstantinos Stouraitis
Konstantinos Stouraitis was born in the island of Rhodes in 1991 and started playing the guitar very early. In 2009 he started studying at the Ionian University, where he received his had his first jazz training. Among his teachers was George Kontrafouris, who made him a member of his group Baby Trio and gave him the opportunity to record for the first time and perform at many venues and festivals in Greece and abroad.
In 2016 he was awarded the Fulbright scholarship to continue his studies at the Queens College in New York, where he studied with Paul Bollenback, Peter Bernstein, Antonio Hart and others and received a Master of Music in Jazz Studies το 2018.
He has collaborated with many musicians of the Greek and international sceve, such as Alkinoos Ioannidis, Takis Paterelis, Dimos Dimitriadis, Antonis Andreou, Dimitris Tsakas, Vasilis Xenopoulos, Mike Clark, Winard Harper, Frank Lacy, Gilad Atzmon and more.
In 2020 he recorded his debut album as a leader, entitled "Mr K”.
