Andreas Rodosthenous was born in the island of Cyprus in 1977. He was a self taught bassist up until 26 years old. Then he studied at Codarts Conservatory in Rotterdam.

In 2015 he released his first personal album "Simplicity" with his quartet Andreas Rodosthenous Ethnic Jazz Ensemble.

He has performed at concerts and festivals in Cyprus and abroad.
