Dimitris (Jim) Politis is a guitarist who moves between the music idioms, from gypsy to mainstream jazz, to balkan, rock, blues and funk and approaches acoustic jazz in a modern manner.

He has shared the stage with Trio Rosenberg's Stochelo Rosenberg, Stu Hamm and the Yiorgos Fakanas Group, while with his band Jim Politis & The Ghost Notes he has released two albums and has performed at many festivals in Greece and abroad.

He has also performed at venues such as the Royal Albert Hall (Great Britain), the Djangofollies festival (Belgium), the UK Jazz and Blues Festival, the Brussels Jazz Marathon and the JekerJazz festival.
