Minas Liakos was born in Athens in 1984. He took guitar lessons with Grigoris Dani and continued his studies at the New School for Jazz and Contemporary Music in New York, from which he graduated in 2013.

He has participated in various musical groups such as TFATFY, Fingers Crossed, Mc Yinka & the Urbanix, and Imam Baildi.
