Kostas Katsonis was born in Athens in 1996. In 2021, he graduated with a master's degree from Ionian University in Greece. He continued his studies at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, where  among his teachers were  Martijn van Iterson, Jesse van Ruller and Reinier Baas.

He has performed with his band at numerous festivals and venues, including Burg Waldeck Festival Frankfurt, Preveza Jazz Fest, Petite Paris d'Athene Jazz Festival and the Stavros Niarchos Foundation.

His first album, "Short Habits," will be released in 2024.
