The band Local Heroes was formed in Athens by Alexandros Dandoulakis (guitar), George Dousos (clarinet), Vassilis Panagiotopoulos (trombone), Angelos Polychronou (percussion) and Menios Moraitis (tumba).

The band’s repertoire includes original compositions, as well as Greek and Balkan songs covers.

Local Heroes’ self-titled album was released in 2023.
