Gadjo Dilo were formed in 2009 by Sotiris Pomonis and Kostas Mitropoulos. It is a band that fuses gypsy jazz and swing tradition, with the sounds and colors of old greek songs. The line-up of the group was later completed by Sergio Chrissovitsanos (violin), Yiorgos Tsitsoulis (accordion) and Iliana Tsapatsari (vocals).

The band's repertoire initially included covers of Django Rheinhardt's compositions as well as other 30's and 40's swing standards. Then they began to experiment in bringing together this music with old greek songs.

Gadjo Dilo have performed in many festivals in Greece and abroad. Their debut album "Manouche De Grec" was released in 2013.
