George Dafnos was born in Athens in 1980. Since he was 9 years old he studied clasical music at the National Conservatory and continued his studies at Yiorgos Fakanas Art School until 2001. Then he studied for three more years ath the Conservatorium Van Amsterdam and in 2004 he returned to Athens.

He has collaborated with various groups as a session musician while he works with his own projects, such as the Meweathers, Liquid Streets, as well as his trio (with Ntinos Manos on bass and Dimitris Klonis on drums).

With this trio he recorded the album "Simplify" that was released in 2017.

He is also a member of the group Flood, and the trio Continuo.
