Georgia Sylleou
Sylleou Georgia was born in Thessaloniki, where she studied music and vocals. She continued her studies in Austria and also studied modern music, vocal expression and theatre in Holland.
Initially during the late '80s she performed with small groups or as a soloist in orchestras in Greece and abroad. Her first album "Ichnilates tou Ioura", where she performed celtic and Hevrides islands songs was released in 1993.
In 1995 she started to collaborate with Sakis Papadimitriou. Since then she studies improvisation and presents thematic music performances. She has also written music for silent movies of the '20s. She has performed in Greece and in many european and international festivals. Also she has presented radio shows.
Sylleou Georgia also writes. Some of her writings have been published in various magazines. Her first book entitled "In Akrotiri" was published in 2012.
