Yiorgos Psihoyios
Yiorgos Psihoyios was born in Athens. At the age of 14 he started accordion lessons at the Greek conservatory and graduated with a diploma with distinction. He continued his studies at the Experimantal Music School and graduated with another diploma with distinction.
Then he studied advanced music theory and attended modern music analysis and notation seminars, as well as arranging and conducting seminars and piano / chamber music seminars with distinguished pianists.
He is also engaged with jazz. He has been teaching in conservatories and music schools for many years and has performed at many venues and festivals, sharing the stage with acclaimed musicians and orchestras.
In 2012 he presented an inprovisational Keith Jarrett inspired piano concert at the Onassis Stegi.
His debut album "Ressurection … A jazz sensation", was released in 2006.
