Kostas Konstantinou
Kostas Konstantinou studied acoustic and electric bass witη a scholarship at Berklee College of Music in Boston.
Returning to Greece he started playing with most of the significant Greek musicians as well as artists from abroad (Lou Donaldson, Peter Berstein, Andy Sheppard, Ralph Peterson, Alfredo Rodriguez, Craig Bailey, Vincent Hector, etc.). He has also performed with numerous groups at many greek and international festivals (in Germany, Romania, China, S. Korea, Taiwan etc.).
He has taken part in many recordings and in 2004 he released the duet album "Concentric Cycles" with pianist Vassilis Tsabropoulos, including some of his original compositions. He has also been performing with guiarist Yiotis Samaras as a duo for many years.
Since 1997 he is the director of jazz studies at the Philippos Nakas conservatory.
