Thanos Bekas was born in 1992 in Athens where he grew up. At the age of 15 he started music lessons, through which he discovered his love for the electric bass.

The starting point of his active activity was the band Koolashake, with which he made various appearances in Athens and participated in various music festivals. At the age of 24, he made his appearance on the Greek jazz scene, with his first personal album, "Round House Project" and then continued his recording career with groups such as the Dark Impulse Trio and How Deep How High, which released their first album in 2022.
