Dimitris Ventourakis was born in Athens in 1993. He started classical piano lessons at the age of 6 with Marianna Aivazova at the Athenaeum conservatory, where he continued his studies in classical, jazz and music theory until 2018. He also holds a degree in Ethnomusicology and Anthropology in Music from the Department of Music Studies at EKPA.

In the course of his studies and during the period 2011-2018 he turned almost entirely to improvisational musical practice, through which he still works today, combining musical genres and styles that influenced him, from jazz, free improv and experimental avant -garde music, up to noise rock, pop and punk.

He has recorded and performed live with Ramdat, How Deep How High, musicians from the jazz and free improvisation scene in Athens and Sweden, as well as as a solo artist. At the same time, he has participated in musical ensembles under the direction of Theodoros Antoniou, Andreas Levissianos and Alexandros Kalogeras and has collaborated in the period 2016-2018 with Anargyros Deniozos in the context of the Open Day held at the Stegi of Onassis Center in Athens.
