Valtadoros Nikos was born in Kozani. He started learning the trompon and then the trumpet at the philarmonic orchestra named "Pandora", of the Municipality of Kozani. Later he studied advanced theory of music and he obtained a degree in harmony, counterpoint and fugue from the Municipal Conservatory of Kozani.

In 2010 he graduated from the Department of Music Studies of the Ionian University having specialized in playing the trumpet. At the university he had the chance to attend courses of classical and jazz music with Socratis Anthis, Dimos Dimitriadis, Dimitris Kalantzis, George Kontrafouris and other exceptional musicians. In 2018 he graduated from the Conservatory of Corfu having Socratis Anthis as his teacher and obtaining a diploma in trumpet.

Both as a student and as a professional musician, he has participated in various symphonic orchestras in conservatories and music ensembles such as the Ionian Brass Ensemble and the Jazz/Free Improvisation Ensemble of the Ionian University. Also, he has appeared with various groups playing traditional music in many festivals, in Polland, Hungary, Spain and Greece.

Moreover, he has taken part in numerous recordings of jazz and folk music albums. He teaches trumpet, brass wind instruments, advanced music theory and jazz music in conservatories, music schools and public schools as well.
